1. Regenerative Agriculture Training

Objective:   Educating over 20,000 farmers in Maharashtra in sustainable agriculture practices.

Crops Focused:   Sugarcane, rice, dairy.

Impact:   Improved sustainable farming techniques, enhanced soil health, increased crop yields, and reduced methane emissions in dairy.

Partners:   Govind Foundation, Capgemini, Bayer, Cooperative Sugar Factory Phaltan.

2. Sustainable Rice Program with Bayer

Collaboration:   Bayer.

Focus:   Drought action and resilience.

Approach: Collaboration with a network of stakeholders including scientists, industry experts, government, and community stakeholders for drought mitigation strategies.

Result: Enhanced sustainability in rice cultivation and mitigated drought impacts.

Additional Work:   Drafting and developing PDD and climate reports for gold standard and Verra for carbon rice project.

3. Tree Plantation Projects

Partners:   Capgemini and others.

Beneficiaries:   Farmers, educational institutions, and villages in rural Maharashtra.

Purpose:   Promoting reforestation, biodiversity, and herbal gardens.

Outcome:   Environmental restoration and carbon sequestration.

4. Improved Cook Stove Distribution

Collaborators:   AstraZeneca and Capgemini.

Goal: Reduce the firewood requirement for cooking.

Impact:   Decreased deforestation, reduced smoke-related health issues, and firewood requirements. Over 20,000 beneficiaries supported.

5. Centre of Excellence for Dairy

Location:   Pune District.

Features:   Advanced dairy practices.

Benefits: Sustainable dairy farming.

Partners:   TATA Trust, Baramati.

Additional Initiative:   Advisor to AIC Baramati for the Center for Innovation and Incubation Atal Incubation Center, supporting climate change-related startups.

6. Small-Scale Biogas Plant Distribution

Partnership:   Govind Foundation.

Scale: Approximately 5,500 units.

Region:   Satara District, Maharashtra.

Advantages:   Promoting renewable energy and waste management.

7. Climate Ecosystem Solutions in Jawali Village

Location:   Satara District.

Strategy:   Circular economy for sustainable development.

Activities:   Recycling, sustainable resource use, community involvement.

 Additional Work: Water purifier distribution based on reduced emissions to schools and individuals.
